We try to pick out the rare fantastic websites - every week a new website put on show. This week: How to enhance the most important meal of the day.

oes anyone actually remember these old child toys where you could match different body parts of, let's say, cartoon character? Duffy Duck got Bugs Bunny's long ears, Porky Pig's belly and Sylvester the cat's feet. Right on the next combination everything seemed to be alright with Porky but he had to waddle along since he got Duffy's flatfeet. Oh well, I'm obviously drifting away in childhood memories. What I actually wanted to illustrate is how many different possibilities there are when mixing only four characters.
It's not a game, it's yummy
He looks like a happy camper.
He looks like a happy camper.
Now imagine there were seventy different characters. Hopefully, I'm not spoiling the thrill for our maths geeks out there if I gave away that this comes together to 566 quadrillion (in figures: 566'000'000'000'000'000) different combinations. A quite amusing game I'd say and a puzzling riddle for safe crackers as well. However, this is neither a game nor a secret code. This is the latest and upcoming idea of three guys from Passau, Germany. This is all organic. This is just yummy.

Hubertus, Philipp and Max, the guys who came up with the idea are probably quite busy lately. They just expanded their business to the UK and that is exactly why they qualified for this anglophile webtip. Well, it actually is not the only reason. Obviously, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast? Oh, upps ... I haven't even mentioned what the website is all about, have I? Well, I gave some clues, didn't I? Wait, you couldn't guess yet? Stop, don't just click on the link. Keep on reading, just for a little bit more. This is way more interesting than just looking at the website yourself. You don't read the last page of the criminal story first, do you?
It's all about muesli
What if I wanted chocolate and almonds but no raspberries?
What if I wanted chocolate and almonds but no raspberries?
Let's see what clues we already had: 566 quadrillion combinations, organic food, breakfast - apparently, this is all summing up to one of my most favourite parts of an extended morning: Muesli. Since most muesli manufacturers are quite uninspired when it comes to the actual ingredients of their products, the guys from Passau came up with the idea to take advantage of the consumer's imagination. MyMuesli.com just offers the ingredients and lets the user combine them in the desired way. All together, there are seventy different components to choose from. It all starts of with the base of your muesli. Choose from eleven bases, every single one of them can also be modified with parts from a variety of eighteen specifications. Only then, it is about the ingredients like fruits, nuts and specials. You may put as many constituents together to form your favourite muesli. After that you have the opportunity to name your creation and make the guys ship it to you.

MyMuesli.com already offers the guys' favourite combinations; however, the obvious reason for this website being webtip-worthy is the possibility to mix your own cereals and match them with your gusto. Just to give you an idea of what this could look like, here is my combination, I called it T-bone Steak. It consist of Poppy Seeds Powers as a base (with extra poppy seeds), banana chips, cranberries, goji berries and cherries on the fruity side of life. This is all added by some sunflower seeds and stripped hemp nuts plus some peanut chocs and chocolate pops to sum it up - the delicious taste of yumminess. The truth is out there
Enjoy your creation.
Enjoy your creation.
Go ahead try your own combination, shipping costs are quite low and if you order five cans of the same combination, you get the sixth can for free. Obviously the price depends on the ingredients you put in your muesli but there should be combinations that fit your budget as well as your taste. I mean, there are 566 quadrillion combinations out there, this makes about 94'000 combinations for every single human. Come on, there definitely got to be yours out there, too.
