mAGENTa fights against color pirates!

aear readers, I'm proud to present you our first weekly weptip. As you probably guess we try to do this every week. I'd like to highlight the word "try" because the today's internet is full of pointless websites so we'll hardly find good ones to recommend. Just say 'good luck' and read on.
Perhaps some of you guys know that not only a branch's name and logo can be trademarked, also a branch's color can be. That's incredible if you imagine that every single color or combination of colors can have a copyright.
Air turbulence.
So for example our dear friend Deutsche Telekom AG trademarked the color magenta in 2000. Any company which uses this color for advertising stuff or it's identity can be punished. A damned situation if some of you guys love this color pretty much and plan to found a company in future using magenta typography. I'm sorry.
But actually it's a funny thing. The website I picked out for you today shows this as well. On freemagenta.nl they present a lot of funny pictures dealing with the magenta-issue. Have a look on them, download your favorite ones and stick them on your bagpack.
Ah, I almost forgot to mention the partner website of Free Magenta. On Reclaim Magenta! you're able to sign a magenta-petition to declare your displeasure.
I wonder when Deutsche Telekom will trademark the T-letter as well. So probably a lot of company names will sound a little strange: 'ele 2, Der 'agesspiegel ... and traveling with 'UI might be an unusual thing.
